ICOB 2008 a great success!
This year's annual convention, held at the Crowne Plaza in beautiful White Plains, New York July 31 - August 4, 2008, was a great success. A full report of the convention and a summary of the resolutions and action plan will be posted on this site very soon.
Delegates came from Canada, Denmark, Uganda, United Kingdom and the United States of America. Among those who came from Uganda were four members of the Ugandan parliament, and the Managing Director of the New Vision newspaper.
The 2009 convention will be held in Kabale, Kigezi. The exact dates and venue will be announced in the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, we are happy to report that over $30,000 was donated to the Kigezi Education Fund between July 25 and August 3, 2008.
We welcome your financial contribution to the Kigezi Education Fund, every cent of which goes directly to the fund. No "administrative" or other fees are deducted from the KEF since all of our activities are performed on a voluntary basis.
